Really happy this place exists and it fits perfectly in the midtown vibes. Record shops, boba, coffee, comics and now retro video games! There are also new video games, though the main attraction is seeing games from previous eras. They keep the good stuff behind the counter. Some key RPGs and a surprisingly ample collection of PS vita games. I think the biggest collection was PS2. The only reason why I put down 4 stars is because there still a lot of unsorted games behind the counters. They need more display space. Once they have that up, then it’ll be great. Still absolutely worth the visit though!

Nice game store with lots of retro games! Prices are reasonable when considering labour and location costs. Sadly too few of these stores are left. Hope they stay around for a long while to enable people to relive the retro past! 😁 …

Great place, staff is wonderful, knowledgeable, if they don’t know something they will go above and beyond to help. Also just a cool place to come and look for games to see what they have, if you’re a collector of physical media (which I hope never goes out of style) like me than you may find something to add to that collection. Trust me give this place a go when you can.

Calling all geeks lol.Pretty cool store. Big video selection. Everything from Nintendo, Sega, Playstation and basically every gaming consoles ever made lol. The inventory is constantly changing so you never know what your gonna find . They have random odds and ends like plush toys, stickers, etc. They resurface game disks for $4 bucks if you have a game that doesn't play anymore because its all scratched up, they can fix it. They repair, buy, sell, and trade. The 2 young men at the store were really kind and very knowledgeable. They had an answer to all my questions. Check them out, call them or send a message on Instagram.

I have a gone a few times to 1-Up as the location is great in Midtown. The selection is decent for how much foot traffic they get. I was a bit disappointed with my first purchase at the shop. I bought two games and it ended up being that 1 of them the case was broke on the inside so the outer case was taped shut?? I not sure why a Gamestore would sell a game like then when they could easily replace it. This is even more disappointing especially when the pricing at 1 up is not great. Prices will be above Ebay and Pricecharting.

This is one cool place! So many old school consoles from Nintendo to Sega Genesis to Xbox! I bought my nephew a Nintendo premium retro console and the dudes there we're totally cool with helping me! (Thanks Dudes🤘🏽) if you're feenin for some old school PlayStation / GameCube/ super Nintendo action😵‍💫, this is the place to come get your fix! You guys are awesome 👍🏼

Fantastic selection of retro games, collector's editions, and gifts for the gamer in your life. The staff are passionate about games and are always happy to help you. The t-shirts, stickers, and jewelry available for purchase are created by local artists. There are also several machines available for free play. This is a must-see in Sac!
